Our colleagues Giuseppe Lomartire and Emanuele Chiochia from the Impes Service site at Taranto Refinery, received 3 bonus points each on the “Sicurometro” by Eni during MTA 2021 stop. The workers have been awarded because excellently managed an unsafe activity. On a plant landing without a toeboard there were mechanical parts that could have fallen with the risk of hitting workers below, therefore the colleagues suspended the activity by departing other workers, removing the material present on the balcony and thus guaranteeing the quality of the work. in compliance with safety objectives.
The workers said: “When we became aware of the potential risk of material falling from above, we intervened immediately to safeguard the safety of our colleagues who operated below.”
